[Challenge 02] ♣ Preliminary Round - Submit
:D Hello everyone! Aren't you just excited? I'm here to present you with your first theme of Challenge 02! This is just the preliminary round. This challenge's guidelines would follow the previous challenge's. Therefore, instead of eliminations every round, there will only be eliminations every OTHER round. So in between elimination rounds, you have a chance to prevent yourself from being booted by boosting your ranking!
In addition, sign ups are still open till voting goes up.
Anyways! Here are your themes:
Main theme:
Monochrome
Your icon may use only black, white + shades of one other color (gray counts as the other color). One good example of an icon that doesn't use the colours white and grey would be this icon by daisuki @ cult
Secondary theme:
Jaejoong
This is the pretty boy from DBSK! Use any image of him you see fit for this icon. Go wild! :D
The deadline for submission is Saturday, 27 June, 2100 hours/0900 PM (GMT + 8). Sign ups will be close then. Submit all icons to a comment in this post. All comments will be screened (:
In addition, you will not be allowed to use your skip for this round. Should you not submit an icon, you will be eliminated.

Please follow the submission guidelines:
- All icons must adhere to LJ standards: 100x100, under 40 KB, in .png, .gif or .jpg format.
- Only one icon per person is to be submitted.
- All icons must be submitted anonymously. This means that if your avatar is Kim Jaejoong, you cannot state, in your LJ or anywhere else, which icon Jaejoong made. If we find out that you have showcased/advertised an icon as your own publicly before the voting closes, you will automatically get disqualified from the competition!
- Icons are to be submitted before the closing time of the challenge round. If you are late, your icon will not be included in the voting post.
- Icons are to be the contestant's own work (usage of resources by other iconists are perfectly fine) and made for the challenge specifically. If the icon is recycled, it is not a valid submission.
- Icons have to be uploaded to a free image host such as Tinypic or Imageshack. Photobucket works too.
- Participants who fail to submit an icon will use up their skip - they will not win or lose any points for that round, and will be immune until the next round. Participants who don't submit and have already used their skip will be eliminated.
