She did well - or as well as a 13 year old having surgery could be. I've pretty much spent the past 5 days jumping through all her teenage hoops to keep her *content*. And I've managed not to kill her. I know, I'm a horrible parent. She's driving me nuts. I admit it. Everytime I attempt to do something (like write this post) she needs/wants/ ( Read more... )

Monday. Counting down the days till Monday.
Of course, she starts physical therapy again Monday afternoon so she'll be unhappy Monday night.
I'm running around the house ALL ALONE on Monday.

Well, I am sitting at my own computer right now...Phil is upstairs on the lap top -- she's still screaming down for me...but at least I feel like I can hide for a few.

But laid-up whiny teeny bopper trumps that. BIG time. Just wanted you to know I did catch this and have been thinking of you.

Sounds like you were finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel [somewhere? I read here...]- yay!

PS GOOD moms are in touch with how they really feel- and do their duty any way!

She's doing better.
Me? I need a vacation.
Hee- of course not only do I wait hand and foot but I'm running around "entertaining" those who stop by to see her (as well as running around straightening the house so no one knows how we really live!)

Oh, and I did promise her a trip to Carlo's Bakery-- better known as the bakery shown on the TLC program "Cake Boss".

Fun times.
