*do teenage boys eat a lot* i went shopping Friday and have to stop on the the way home from work this afternoon for milk, biscuits, crisp and hot chocolate.
I give them (or their moms) this - my son told them to bring some chips or a snack of some sort AND THEY DID! :>) However, I'm off to the store in a few because we're getting another freaking snow storm which means my son (and his sister) will be home tomorrow and possibly Thursday. There's not enough food in the entire STORE if he's stuck in the house for two snow days.
Nope - it was oh boyS!! 7 of them. And when I say teenagers - I mean they're all only 13, which technically is teenager but not smart enough to not have a beanie baby fight... wait- are ANY teenager boys smart enough to not have a beanie baby fight?
It went fine. No broken bones, only one scratched Xbox game (which I fixed), still some snacks left. All in all - it was still better that they were here and not out getting in trouble.
Phil says it's Super STUPID! But hey - when he was a kid, he was out and about and in a ton of trouble. You would THINK he'd want to keep his son out of trouble.
Men? Not usually too bright.
It went OK. No broken bones. No missing teeth. One scratched Xbox game that was fixed. All in all - not a bad party.
My birthday was nice. AND QUIET! It was wonderful.
But the next day - They were here. They were safe. There was no alcohol. No drugs. Lots of chips, meatballs, big sandwich, mountain dew, chicken wings, BIG giant chocolate chip cookies. But no booze. no drugs. Good party.
Super Mom. Well, actually, Smart Mom. It's scary that this is what you have to worry about now. I mean, it wasn't so long ago that you were just worrying about "little" things.

I actually think the SuperBowl party is a great idea. For the exact reasons you listed.
