When you run into the Priest in the grocery store and he's not dressed up as the Priest, are you required to make "nice" conversation with him? He's there doing what I'm doing - stocking up on junk food because we're getting a snow storm. So is he required to be priestly? And am I required to be polite ( Read more... )

Can't you just say hello? Does it require much conversation? I mean, does your family go to his Church?

As for the overheard conversation... yeah, I've met parents like that.

Aw- that's the prob. Nope - we don't go to his church. It is in my tiny town along with another church, which is the one we attend. We're both very active in our tiny little town so we 'know' each other. He just doesn't get that with such an irish last name why we wouldn't be members of his church. We're Irish, thus we must be Catholic ( ... )

Oh yeah - that f**king woman's language? Nothing compared with what's coming out of my f**king mouth today.
We're not just getting snow. Oh hell no. That would be fine.
We're getting a f**king blizzard. Possibly over 18 f**king inches.
I'm trapped in my house with both my f**king kids and the f**king husband. All f**king day and very likely all f**king day tomorrow.
