i adore this pairing though admittedly i'm not the biggest karen fan. derek's characterization was wonderful!

Wonderful Derek voice there. But then, that should hardly come as a suprise, should it? You're a champion at characterization.

And I was just thinking, on Tuesday night, that I could listen to Davenport play just about anything. You've got brilliant timing, obviously.

I do hope you'll continue exploring this relationship, whether in new fics or in some sort of (direct or loose) continuation of this one, because I do love your take on Karen/Derek ever so much.
