you see, you should know this better than anyone that the GENERAL republican gets his news from Fox or MSNBC. They feel because Bush acts it, that Bush brings the will of God to our country. I don't beleive in god and the problem with our country especially the young people is they beleive everything they hear on TV and read in the bible, but these people are gonna start doing something thinking in about 30 years and it's gonna be scary because it's gonna be the first time these people will be thinking on their own and they are going to come to terms with the fact that their whole lives have been lived on the insanity of a FICTIONAL book written 2000 years ago, who didn't even do any thinking of his own, he ripped off a book by a religion called "Zoroastrianism"...but that wierd because this religion started in 1200bc and celebrated a death and a resurrection, OMG so does chrisitanity, but they celebrate easter on a different day every year...no link up there...oh wait that's right, peganism took over and converted modern day easter ( ... )

i dont think your giving the christians enough credit. granted, they did essentially steal their religion from the pegans and a lot of them are completely and utterly blind to human nature and respect for all things living, but that doesn't mean they're not capable of logic. in the past few years i've had the chance to talk to a lot of very reasonable christians, who did not follow their religion blindly, but questioned it and analyzed it to make sure that it was really the right religion for them. its only the people who take what they're given and follow like sheep that im worried about.
maybe im giving humanity too much credit

Mike,
Yes, alot of Christians are stuck in their ways, trapped in their little bubbles of conservitism. However, they are not all that way. Your comments, in general are very ignorant and your facts are skewed. I just hope that in 30 years, you will come to your senses and start thinking on your own. Now that would be a nice thought.

ok, first, every religion steals from every other religion. All religions have essentially the same stories. This is because, whether they happened or not, they come from the collective unconcious. I don't fully understand the idea of the collective unconcious, but it has to do with the way that all humans are tied together on some deep level. So that is why judaism/christianity have similar stories. So do Hinduism, Islam, Norse Mythology, Greek Mythology, Aztec, and Mayan Mythologies. They all have some sort of Resurrection Story. So thats that fact. Next, the big problem i have with the president is that he honestly believes that god talks to him. Thats fine. My friend Tara hears voices, and someone put into her head that the voices are god. Rationally she knows they aren't, that they are just Schizophrenia, but when they start talking while she lays in bed at night, her rationality tends to waver. Osama Bin Laden believes the same thing. Allah talks to him. when you have a leader who is that religiously fanatic, it ( ... )

Finally somebody who actually responded to the ACTUAL post! And I think that the rhetoricians' studies have actually shown that Bush speaks around a 2nd grade level. Maybe it was 7th grade level, but either way, you guys get the point.

this election has left little hope for america for the next 4 years. Im losing faith in the itelligence of the public. Apparently being able to speak english properly isn't that important for a man who has so much power. This is the man who is going to take away many of the womens rights that we have fought for so long.

I just amazes me how stupid and ignorant some people can be!!
