Very nicely written and a very striking observation that one character has of another. I love Smecker's choice of imagery, especially the 'empty room that's swept painstakingly clean and has one single bare bulb hanging from the ceiling and lighting up all the corners with ruthless intent.'

All of it sums up Il Duce very nicely!

Thank you very much. Whenever I rewatch the courtroom scene from Boondock Saints and watch Smecker going "oh shit" as he stares through the doorway at what's going on, those moments really sum up for me how now that Il Duce's in the picture, it's gotten completely out of his control and he's rather terrified by it all. So just thought I'd try and write about that, and his thoughts on the man. Glad you enjoyed!
