I have decided that from now on I'm not watching recaps on first viewing. They are so spoilery! What are they thinking?
Whee for smart!Dean shooting the chandelier.Wasn't it weird the amount of Iron in this episode? I can't really recall the last time they used it, maybe 2.21? It sort of felt like they were trying to reintroduce the idea quite forcefully - or maybe that was just me :P

You know, you're totally right. It's like during season 3 they were so dependent on these magical weapons (the Colt, Ruby's knife) and now we're back to basics with iron. Hee, see I had an eyebrow-raising moment at Dean's obvious "iron" statement, but then I think they maybe made such a big deal of it because, like you said, they haven't used it for a season or so and therefore have to introduce it to relatively new watchers.
I've read too many TWOP recaps, for me it's shouting, "LYING LIAR WHO LIES!" Yeah, it seems Dean learned his lesson from Hunted in s2 that keeping secrets is bad, whereas Sam seems to have missed the memo.
Yeah, I was yelling lying liar who lies but it sort of was two much of a mouthful when I had occasion to yell it every ten seconds or so :P Does that phrase originate on TWOP or on One Tree Hill? I've seen it on both but not sure which it was originally from?
Castiel is fabulous. I've been saying this for two weeks. We can has moar of him nao? And this new Geneveve Cortese girl has absolutely no facial expressions whatsoever. I hope she dies in a fire sent by Castiel. What? It could happen. She is so BOOOOOORING. Katie Cassidy is no Oscar winner but at least she's cute. And is actually fun to watch. I actually do not mind the religious arc in the slightest even though I am not religious. I think it's an interesting and different change and I want to see where they go with it.
Oh he is, he is. Yes, lots more of Castiel please! I hope something similar, it would cause me such glee to see Castiel kill her. It totally could happen, I don't think too many fans would mourn the loss so methinks Kripke could totally get away with it!
Totally agree with you. This season's already shaping up to be the best yet so that only supports the theory that it's a good thing.
