So, it seem the manager at The Source isn't working today -- someone took his shift. I left him a message on his cell, but he hasn't responded and it's been about an hour and a half, so I'm beginning to get anxious. Presumably, something came up ( Read more... )

The cheapest place to get furniture is off the side of the road. This happens most often at the end of spring/beginning of summer when all the students move out. However, it has also been known to happen at the end of summer, when all the 1 year leases expire. So that would be where I would look for cheap furniture, in Waterloo, about 5km radius around the university if you can wait that long. Other than that, no suggestions.

And as for the D&D, Azuwrath is pretty awesome, but the party is more awesome. Therefore, victory is asured.

Part one, proof by democracy. Part two, proof by authority (I said so). Part three, proof by lack of counter-example (yes I just made that one up, it's right because I said so (a proof that exists because of a proof by authority)). Part four, induction (Mischief did a stupid act, and once Mischief does a stupid act, he follows it with another stupid act. This implies that Mischief will continue doing stupid acts, meaning that he himself is stupid). Part five, the act which Mischief took part in that was witnessed by 3 people and a cat, that no sane cat of Mischief's proportions or otherwise would consider without immediate danger.

Mischief is really really REALLY dumb.

And like I said, the future shop in Guelph is hiring, but that depends when they actually finish it too..

I'll explain on Friday/Saturday when you get here, but as a quick teaser, lets just say you were very close to having a cat with several broken legs, or possibly just a dead cat. All for the sake of that little orange, female kitty. I think she's in heat, though I swear she's not even a year old yet.
