Got budget approval to give my staff raises. Conducted an interview and hired her on the spot, my third hire this week. Passed a sanitation inspection (without even being there for most of it). Got a $1500 post tax bonus (but shh it’s a secret).

Today was an early release. It went fine. Fixed the door knob at home. Fell asleep writing journal only for it to fail to post. St least twice. Last stab here.

Today was an okay day. Sent out my second job offer this week, got an acceptance. May have a third applicant interview on Friday even.

Got a big box of cookies from a parent for my staff as a thank you (the parent happens to be Molly’s boss and my current classmate, and Domino’s wife, so there is that).

Woke up with Molly and put her lunch together then stayed up and did a bit of organizing.

Went to work, organized some more there.

Went to admin meeting. Ate a bagel.

Today was mom’s birthday. It should have been nice. And the get together itself was fine for the most part. But dad made a snide comment about the house and I couldn’t take it and we left. Molly’s mom made some comments to her yesterday and between the two things we’ve been spiraling all day.

Just finished this fucking business plan assignment. It’s a total joke, it’s both overly specific and overly generic all at once. Like the things we had to include needed to be specific concepts, but the actual plans had to be kept generic. When I couldn’t sleep I made a massive list of things I need to tackle, and it keeps getting larger, but today I feel like I made some progress.
