Another weekend passed in Miami. Went out to South Beach Saturday night. I saw a whole lot of brotherly love goin' on. Its almost unsettling how much money there is in South Beach... in front of the biggest clubs there is a row of Lamborghini's and other assorted sports cars. A Jag here is nothing. I'm almost all packed, I'll be in Miami at noon tomorrow. My work orientation session is at 9 on Jan. 3rd. Then I will be an intern at Cordis, part of Johnson and Johnson in pharmaceuticals, helping to engineer packaging for heart stents. I've started packing, moving still doesn't seem real. It's as if my room will just be a bit empty for a while. But its only mine for a little while longer. Saying goodbye to the cold weather won't be too hard, I won't miss my job cleaning that much. There is one person I don't know what to say to though. I'm not looking forward to our last hug... Sometimes I watch Miami Animal Police on Animal Planet to see what the area looks like. I've never been to Miami so it helps a bit to see where I will be living in a few weeks.
