I mean, I get that her actions would have blindsided him, and Sam certainly had some other personal things going on at the moment (whoops, you helped release Satan on the world. That sort of information tends distract one from...pretty much everything else), but later anytime the "we've lost so many people" list gets rolled out, no one ever mentions Ruby, not even Sam. Which is upsetting, because, regardless of how they ended, Sam cared about her, and she cared about him. So he had to have been feeling her loss, because it's impossible to just shut out any and all feelings you had for someone, even if your

Awwww. I love fic written in the context of that episode, and this is so sweet and wistful. AW, SAM. Borrowing Jared's wife to cuddle for just a little while, and Jared's bed to sleep in. I love the little details as Gen snuggles in next to him.

Speaking of writing spn fic, I finished S4 and in the midst of all of my Ruby emotions, discovered that the teensybang for 2.0 and Gen was still open, and signed up. So that's a situation I got myself into... But I'm having fun, so it's all good. *g*

OMG THIS SHOOOWWW. I had to enforce a SPN hiatus on myself so I could get other things done, so I'm paused towards the end of S5. 5.15 or 16 is the last one I've seen. Except for The French Mistake, which my roommate was watching. SO MANY FEELINGS THOUGH. There will likely be a fullish report sometime in the future.
