Who's Laurice Deauxnim? Sounds kinda classy. Just hearing the name makes me want to go get my picture drawn!

Though Deauxnim sounds kinda familiar...where did I hear that from?

Hey Maya! I'm Laurice Deauxnim! ...Well, not right now; only when I'm creating art! You really think it sounds classy? That's great! Maybe I should wear fancier clothes while I paint...

I borrowed the last name from my mentor, Ms. Elise. She was one cool lady. I figure the least I can do to show my appreciation is to carry on her name, y'know?

You should get your picture drawn! I can feel myself getting inspired already; I'll call it Magnificent Maya in Mauve!

W-W-Wait! You say you were the apprentice of my mother?! You must be a professional then!

If you ask me, Larry, charging two hours of their time means your female customers are getting the worse end of the deal.

Don't be such a negative nancy, Nick. I disagree!

Minimum wage is a good deal higher than 50 cents an hour, you know.

... But fine, I'll contribute to your fund. I'll give you fifty cents if you draw Tru. Heck, I'll give you a buck fifty if you do it nicely.

I can't offer you a date, Mr. Butz, but I can pay you for a portrait. It would be nice to give to my husband.

Interested? I pay well.

(OOC: Not a randome loser. Honest)

I want something other than a portrait, I heard you made a Thinker statue/clock before and I wish to have one for my collection. I can pay you handsomely though not immediately.

I'll contact you later when it's finished.

Really? You liked those clocks I made? I didn't know many people knew about them! Maybe I should make a whole bunch and sell them! Do you think I could market them, dude?

Sure, I'll make one for you! It'll take a week, though. And I do like being paid handsomely! I'll get started tonight.

I'm famous, but I wouldn't mind you painting a picture of myself. In fact, I'll even let you do it for free, dude.

You're famous, dude? Cool! I've never had a famous person on my journal before! If I do your portrait, will it get used in a movie or something?

Probably. Hell, I bet you'd become famous for painting my portrait.
