I did 72 hours on the road once from Acapulco to Mexico City, to Reynosa, through San Antonio to Arizona. Texas (at least san antonio to el paso) is fucking boring, especially at night. I feel for you. Have a great summer!

Whenever things get dark on a long road trip, I look back on Georgia DeathTrip 2003...

and I say to myself,

"At least there's not a stoned ex-girlfriend kicking my seat and singing 'Put it my mouth... my muthafuckin mouth' over and over on the top of her lungs as I just pass hour 15 behind the wheel somewhere in the middle Klan Kounty, Alabama in the pitch black rain and fog."

Though, I've just got to say, between 'the hole', Utah, lack of stops, and the fact that you didn't mention wanting to kill any of your fellow travelers; you've got some clout now.
