Recently someone asked me to name the five albums that changed my life. I could probably come up with them if I thought hard enough and would probably list them if I wasn't too lazy and under the belief that no one cares what i have to say ( Read more... )

I also don't know if I would say these "changed my life" but they have meaning for me. In no particular order:

1. Lauryn Hill - The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill
2. No Doubt - Tragic Kingdom
3. Destiny's Child - The Writing's On the Wall
4. Jay Z - The Blueprint 2: The Gift and the Curse
5. Brandy - Never Say Never

-Jessiekins

why are you "under the belief that no one cares what [you] have to say"? I think you know better my friend. SELF-DEFEATING GAMES. Just kidding, I know you hate me for always psychoanalyzing you.

1) Alanis Morisette- Jagged Little Pill
2) Lauryn Hill- MTV Unplugged

Those are two that I remember liking a lot....I'm not sure how much they've changed my life but I do like a lot of things that Lauryn Hill says in her unplugged album. I also remember in grade 6 how I'd mute my stereo anytime Alanis morisette would say "fuck her". I haven't always listened to a lot of music/bought albums but there's many more years to come! (unless i die in an untimely accident).

we care.
