Another Day in Life

One difference here: if your child gets bad grades and you yell at them, you still love them. They might get mad but they don't hate you and resent you every minute. These people are not your children - they're prisoners, and I hope you're able to mostly forget about them when you leave. It isn't a personal thing, it's a job.

But yes, congrats on being halfway done. Keep going babe! You'll be fine. And thank bob it's not a 15 month tour...
