Hi Smellyia! I've never commented on your LJ before, but I love your writing and, of course, TLYDF and all the recommendations that are always awesome. I just needed to say that I read that last snape recommendation, #4: This Time, and it was AMAZING. I have never read HP ffn before, and I loved it! Thank you for your contributions to everything that is awesome!

Yeah I'm going to dive right into the weird (and maybe awkward? But hopefully not) and say that I love everything that is TLYDF. I am pretty new to reading ffn and I'm very picky, but your blog appeals to me as a reader in every way. I don't ever write, but I still like to read about the technical aspects of writing that you discuss, as well as the thought-provoking discussions of the distinguished fics out there and OH THE INTERVIEWS. I read them and of course I've never read anything by the author being interviewed because I'm a huge n00b and kind of busy with college sometimes but I still love it! You all are so damn witty! I'm kind of in the fandom of your particular group of fandom and I usually keep my mouth shut and just observe... but I figured you'd like to hear from someone who just found TLYDF through a random link and loves it as much as I do. It looks like such hard work! I trust everything that is recommended there to be excellent. The admins themselves are also such good writers, and the content is always ( ... )

I am so very very very THRILLED you chose to share all that with me. Sometimes TLYDF takes over my whole life when it comes to coordinating it (as I am the main person who does a lot of that stuff) and to know ppl are getting enjoyment out of it makes my day.

I too watched OoTP this weekend ;)
