i haven't read up enough on the election yet, so i can really make a 100% informed decision here. however, from what i have read, stephen harper can go eat rocks.

however, i'm not too impressed with stephane dion either. i mean, i know why he's suggesting the carbon tax, and i'm not completely ruling that out, however it cannot possibly be imposed within the near future. i know the economy is not the number one issue, but the carbon tax at this point in time would completely destory canada's economy. it would put so much pressure on those people and families who are just barely making ends meet as it is. i think it would make newfoundland explode.

so as long as you don't support the idea of stephane dion imposing a carbon tax asap, then we're not in a fight.

ps: i got called into work a million days in a row and that's why i haven't had a chance to phone. but i'm off wednesday night (hopefully), so i'll call you then. *love*

Oh dear oh dear oh dear Terri Lynn we need to have a talk.
I am 100% for the carbon tax and I can tell you exactly why. It needed to be imposed 20 years ago.
But we should have a talk. Don't listen to Harper when he tells you that carbon taxing is risky and untested and will be bad for the economy.

Please read the link that I posted in the journal.
