christmas photo set!

Finally gonna post some photos from my new camera. I LOVE it! It's so much fun and satisfying to use. And I am really liking the stuff I'm producing with it. Unlike my doodles.. Just like with pigment on paper or canvas, you should take care of the basics: rule of thirds, balancing weighted objects, lines drawing the eye toward the subject, and vignetting. And on top of that, focus, lighting, use of colour and contrast, movement, negative space and shadow. In several of your pictures the subject is dead center instead of on the thirds and in some there is potential for balance but the points of interest are crowding one side.

You're welcome. 8^) The good thing about digital cameras is that with the LCD screen it's a lot easier to frame and position everything in the picture than it is when squinting through a viewfinder.

Well actually.. my camera doesn't have live view! So I DO have to look through the viewfinder, but that's ok, it's a pretty good one.
