waiting

waiting for something makes time go slower. ALWAYS. what is with that? I know time doesn't actually slow down but it sure feels like it.

tonite meg and I are hanging out at my house. I'm making bread and eventually we will have dinner. I am not waiting for him to call. right.

sure.

just at my house on a night I'm normally out.

well, if you're waiting for something next to another something which is really huuuuuuge (like a gassy giant planet...or perhaps a black hole...) then time really does go more slowly.....or at least it appears that way to an outsider looking at you next to the huge-ness.....to you, next to the hugeness, you'd think time was flowing at a perfectly normal pace....except that you were waiting for something which was making time seem like it was going more slowly....I suppose you could read "en attendant godot" again and then it would seem like your time was flying by in comparison...did I ever tell you I went to see that in dublin and was reminded of just how odd it was....

oh fine, I'll write my paper now....

gracias - sushi was ok (the rice turned out a little funky) but the gloriously horrible kung fu movies made up for it....

are you still working at the sushi place in eureka?
