I emailed mny financial adviser at the art insititute. I think I'm going to drop out and wait a year, which is when I had planned to enroll in the first place. I went from requesting information to enrollen in the span of two weeks, and with my life as it is, I am in no way ready for this kind of a commitment. So I'm seeing what kind of

Omg...the art institutes...run away, fast.

Honestly, that's not the best art school chain you can go to, and my biggest advice to anybody is get core classes done, and then consider schools that specialize in art. The art institutes...are good to a point, but they are in it for the money and that's about it.

This is coming from me, who is an alumni from there, and many other alumni friends. You don't have to take it to heart, but it's just an opinion! :D

It's good to get insight from a survivor-... er, former student. I'm honestly considering looking into a school in the area that I can attend in person.
