My mum won't let me go to the Roskilde festival. AAAH! I'm mad. I know a lot of younger people who's going. She wouldn't even listen to my arguments when I told her about the idea, and there's no way that her mind's gonna be changed. My mum is the kind who says personal insults whenever I disagree with her, absolutely irrelevant things she utters, ( Read more... )

You should go anyways, fuck your mum! As long as she isn't crazy enough to like call the cops or something. But anyways I feel your pain, I'm sure my rents wouldn't let me go to any kind of festival. Festival?! Like woodstock? With Hippies and Drugs???!?!?!??!?

Thanks. I was thinking of saying that I was going to somewhere else, a camp or something, and just taking the train to denmark instead. But that would be really, really horrible if she found out.
Roskilde has a few hippies and a lot of drugs. But hey, I would even avoid drinking if that would make my mum let me go. I don't think anything will change her mind, though.

Is it hard to get to Denmark? I know you need permission stuff from your parents if you want to go to Canada. Not that you couldn't fake it I suppose.

Not at all. With the train, I don't even need a passport. Scadinavia is very open to Scandinaves, and I could go anywhere as if it was in Norway (not with a plane)

You saw her twice? Great :)
Even though it is a real bummer not being able to go to that festival, I'll survive, I'm planning on going to another festival in Oslo. For free, because I'm gonna work on a recycling project there, hopefully! Devendra Banhart played on that festival last year, and I missed it. It was horrible!!
