Thank you so much! :)
I feel like that cross between really excited and ever so slightly scared.

Hello!
Thank you - it's nice to meet you too!
Oh, your introductions was one of my favourites!
I meant to leave a comment, but then I lost my internet, and then lost the username.
Anyway.
HI! :D

Welcome to LJ Idol! I too love Sherlock and Doctor Who, and if you haven't read Jacqueline Carey's "Kushiel" series of books, I highly recommend them. :)

Thank you! :D
Okay, so I looked up the series on Goodreads, and it looks interesting enough!
On the author page, there are two trilogies: Phedre and Imriel. Which one do I start with?

Kushiel's Dart is the very first book, you need to start there. After the Kushiel set is Imriel's trilogy. There is also a series of Naamah books but those come about 100 years after the Kushiel events. When in doubt go to Amazon and check publication dates.
