so spring break.
lets have a recap shall we
and ill try to keep this somewhat short
and bear in mind the pictures took hours to load
and theres like 50000+
SO LEAVE A DAMN COMMENT.
so easter sunday we took off to the middle of nowhere and stayed at my grandmas house approx. 1 hour and 45 min away. and i drove. in the dark. psh im wonder woman.
monday i woke up earlyish.
pictures of the lake my grandma lives on.
drove to laughlin and we were going to ride jetskis but unfortunately the age limit was 18 soo that was a no go. we went bowling in our hotel (yes it had a bowling alley and a movie theater) i really suck at bowling. but i managed to break 100 the second game. i told you i was wonderful.
the ride there...
you're probably thinking why, im thinking why not
i was a 909er for a day
on tuesday we drove to the wonderful williams, arizona. but not before waking up at effing 4:30 AM. so i did some sleeping in the car. we get there at like 7. and then we got on this old 1920's train for a 2 1/2 hour trip up to the grand canyon.
on the way there we saw a whole bunch of nothing. and cows.
the grand canyon was amazing though. truly breath taking. and i dont think the pictures even capture half of what its like in person. but heres a taste..
so no burros for me. they were reserved for a year and a half in advanced. so we ate on the rim and boarded the very uncomfortable train once again. slept on the way down and we stayed at this really neat house with 2 other families in Williams. one family was from scottland and they owned a castle there. anyway it was a really big house and the rooms were very nice and homely.
Wednesday we were supposed to drive up to the canyon this time and stay on the rim in the hotel but we decided to go to sedona instead.
the drive was beautiful
and then we got out to hike. oooh how i adore hiking.
my favorite pictures
then we drove to these dry caverns. they werent very pretty, and the guide was an asshole and whatnot but ill entertain you with pictures of the drive there
man im such a tourist.
after the caverns we made our way to las vegas.
hoover dam
i believe lake havisu or mead. not sure though.
how fun.
anyway we got to las vegas and then i basically was exhausted of picture taking so nothing to see. We got a really nice room at the Aladdin where my cousin works. i think we basically just hung out that night. las vegas wasnt that great so im not going to go into detail about it.
but you should know i went shopping
-sandals
-a belt
-a purse
-earrings
-a hat
-an adorable bikini
oh and we also went indoor skydiving..but thats a different story =/
