Just poking my head in to say that I had the same reaction to/loved Thorne/Cress for the same reason. Once Thorne was introduced in Scarlet I immediately went "OH MY GOD, HE'S FLYNN RYDER. HE'S FLYNN RYDER!!!" and I lost my shit completely as their dynamic played out so, so Tangled-ly. It made me SO HAPPY.
