My heart is broken, my eyes are falling out of their sockets, and I love the USNT so much. I'm gutted, I'm pulled, I'm dying, I'm crying, I'm everything. That was so intense, so intense beign with that huge crowd, watching the game, biting my nails, holding back the tears as the last seconds ticked on the clock. I can't even support Spain at this ( Read more... )

I had neighbors over at my house and as soon as the whistle blew I broke down and started crying. They looked at me like I was nuts but it was because my heart had just been completely broken!

I know exactly how you feel though; I'm just so proud of the boys, they had their mistakes and problems, but they played with so much passion and heart that I just love them!
Atleast during this World Cup we showed the world that we are capable and that we are going to be a force to be reckoned with in the next World Cup

There were a few of us crying at the tent at the Stadium, others were just smirking and just trying to laugh it off. I couldn't bare to do that. I had to cry, I was crying during overtime, so scared about it all. So fucking scared. I couldn't stay to see the boys after the game, I didn't want to see them as broken as me. I remember Clint after they lost to Brazil in the Confed Cup, that was hard enough to handle as it is.

The passion they put into their game, the way they play, they play with a point to prove, they stand for everything to try and show the world that we should be taken seriously in these competitions and this sport.
A major force.

The worst part was seeing their reactions after the game because you could just tell and feel that they wanted this so bad for themselves, for their fans and for their country. It just hurt looking at them. You were smart to leave.

I think that the rest of the world has a bit more respect for the USMNT now, the people that are going to get on my nerves are the Americans that will say "our team sucks, we lost to Ghana". I really just hope that with all the attention we got in this World Cup and all the new fans that they will educate themselves and understand the actual game of football.

I saw in a news report with Alexi Lalas Landon, Stu, and Carlos, and ugh. And Edu, he seemed just so I can't even think of a word. And they showed Clint walking past the coaches and stuff but I didn't get to see his face, so I don't know what he was going through mentally. And I heard Johnny was really upset about it, and Benny looked LKDfjDLfjdfg that whole team.

I believe so too. I think, out of everyone in the world, the Americans are going to be the ones to understand the least this loss and this tournament. My mum and her friend really pissed me off because whilst I was crying, all they could talk about was this hot guy they talked too. They really just didn't get it. My mum THINKS she knows the sports and what's good and what's bad, but I just see her as a big fony after that game. She didn't seem disturbed at all. It was just like "aw, they lost, that sucks, ooooh look! beer!" And Ghana aren't a bad country when it comes to soccer. I mean, their U-20 won the WC for pete's sake.
