Jocey, I did an essay on this lawsuit like two months ago! XD
The mother claimed that Nintendo didn't warn players of the health risks that can be caused by playing the games. They did, they were in every manual, and they sometimes appear when a game is started up. So in the end the mother's parenting skills and her son's own lack of judgment (I don't know how old he was but he wasn't a little kid) were more to blame than Nintendo not having warnings anywhere. I feel bad for the mother but trying to sue Nintendo was a stupid move. (Like those people trying to sue McDonalds because their food made them fat)
Did you know she wanted to be paid for her son's lost wages?
If he was playing videogames eight hours a day I don't think he had a job...
