Voice lessons

I am thinking about getting voice lessons, at least for over the summer except I don't understand them fully. What exactly happens at a voice lesson other than singing, what exactly do they teach? How do I go about getting a teacher? Will the teacher come to me or do I go to the teacher? Do I need anything in particular? How much is it? Is it

i took some voice lessons. i forget how i found her. she was teaching me stuff like how to breathe properly while singing, and such like that. i think it was something like $20-$30 a lesson. i went to the teacher. i think thats pretty standard. my teacher is in warwick and im not really in contact with her so i dont really have a reccommendation but i hope i helped at least a bit.

If voice lessons are anything like instrumental lessons, standard is $12/half hr, and whether it's worth it or not depends on the teacher. Dunno if that helps.
