i'm avoid all spoilers as well, but the article i read about the book reviews said that there wasn't actually anything given away about the book.

I'm one of thousands who wrote in protest about the review a few days ago. I finished reading Deathly Hallows a few hours ago, and only then did I read the NYT review. I'll admit it did not spoil me as badly as I feared, however it did contain plot detail and I'm quite glad I waited until after reading the book myself before reading the review. I agree with most others on this message response page: we deserve an apology ( ... )
