I was just thinking about something that was mentioned at Beth's small group on Monday. What are my talents? What has God gifted me in? What am I good at? God is so crazy with all the different things he gives people. Well, I know I'm gifted as an athlete, I can sort of sing, and I love to write, but otherwise, sometimes I feel sort of boring

Beth, do you own the book "What's So Spiritual About My Gifts?" by Henry Blackaby? Ron recommended to me, and I wanted to take him up on it.

I remember reading something in Ecclesiastes.. near the end? Anyway, it sort of told me to invest in whatever I could while still keeping priority. God'll do the rest.

Sorry, but I'm afraid I don't know what you mean......Maybe you could explain because I looked at the end of Ecclesiastes and it wasn't there,...I don't think.....? I could be blind, but I do wear contacts.

Lacey, I highly recommend picking up the book "What So Spiritual About My Gifts?" by Henry Blackaby and some other guy. Encouraging Words should have it...just ask them and they'll go find it.

It's just a little book--you could read it in an evening--but it's packed full of absolute truth and is more biblically sound when it comes to our gifts and abilities than I've seen in a lot of stuff. I would highly recommend it, and I really think it will give you a very cool and refreshing perspective about yourself and God's intentions for you.
