I've been going through the grieving process and I thank you all so very very much for sharing this hellish week with me. God.

I'm almost ashamed to admit..I adored Heath but I wan't really into him.  I'll admit there were times I just kind of shook my head at his wacky outfits and didn't get it when my friends totally freaked out and called him

I agree with you wholehartedly. I have always been a Jack/Jake fan primarily but I adored Heath's gift to us as Ennis Del Mar. He was supurb in that role and it is a part of his legacy. He was at the beginning of a great career and left far too soon.
My sadness now is for those he left behind, his family and friends, especially Michelle, Matilda and Jake. May they find acceptance and peace now. And may fond memories replace the sorrow. Loveya. Carole

Aww, Em, that was so eloquent. Thanks for posting your thoughts on Heath.

I am one of the ones who adored him right from the start, holey shirts and weird color combos and all that. Sometimes I think he did it just as a lark. To get people to pay attention to the clothes and not the man.

His shoes though, always got me. I don't know what it was about them, but I loved whatever pair he was wearing. They always looked so comfy, well worn and well liked. It always made me smile to see what shoes he had on.

I'm looking forward to reading more of your stories, whenever and whatever you decide to post.

Oh Em. What can I say you've done it again. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, I can't even say that enough. Yes to everything. But most of all to not knowing what Heath meant to me until he was gone. That will always be a regret of this Jack/Jake girl who just found out how much of a Heath/Ennis girl she was.

I think quite a few of us feel the same way. I was lucky enough to see "10 Things" when it first came out in the theatre, and I've been a fan ever since. And who can not help but love Jake as well? Yet RL interferes with us all, and I tended to forget just how much I *liked* Heath. I used to joke that it looked as if Heath stole some parts of his outfits from my closet. I just didn't realise that he had stolen a piece of my heart as well.
