"So I turned my face to the sky And let you wash over me
Until I could feel you seep in As dampness cutting through layers
Warming me to the bone Shivering with your life."
Thank you, dear Em. You may not think yourself a poet, but you've written such a beautiful piece . . . I have no words to tell you how much I enjoyed it.
Hey T: Thanks. Poetry is something I used to write long ago and not very well. I guess this is like a shot in the dark that hit the mark. Maybe a certain star in the sky had something to do with it. Much love, Em
It's good, isn't it? To feel him in the elements. Sometimes it feels you can't escape the sadness, but, yet, it also feels like you're never without him. Thanks for the hugs.
Oh what a lovely comment. Thanks so much. It is very easy to bare the soul when inspired by one so pure. He will stay gold, always. Your words are a comfort, so...thank YOU. xx
You're welcome. I wrote a descriptive piece long ago about the rain and it's still one of my favourites. I think the rain just does that to me, helps me tap into things. Thanks for the hugs.
