I KNOW. Poor Jack and Ennis, bubbling away waiting for something to happen so they could spill over. I have a feeling somebody's gonna be enjoying some drip coffee after Christmas! xx Em

Oh PJ, thanks so much. That line is very special to me, and it feels soooo good to know what I'm trying to convey hits the mark. I always look forward to your comments. Thanks. Em

Ursel - Thanks so much. There are a few very special lines to me in this chapter, that's one of them. Thanks for your comment. Em

Wonderful chapter. From the moment Ennis was teasing Janie about her cookies right till the end when Jack was whistling 'that song' (I wonder if he even knew considering how much he disliked it at Bobby's school program). And I wonder what's going on with Randall? I don't think I trust that guy. I'm glad Laureen came to Jack's rescue there, even if it was to save face.
And her conversation with Ennis was (dare I say) adorable. The way she slowly warmed up to him was too cute. Noone can resist him for long.
Great job,
Judy

Hi Judy: Who knew Ennis could be such a charmer? I guess he figured he was able to sweet-talk Janie into letting him know where she hid her cookies, why not try the same with Lureen to gain her respect? Although I think he really does like Bobby, and Bobby can sense that. Thanks for letting me know what you thought. Em

Hi, I've just re-discovered The Dance!

I've read the last few chapters all together and... you are doing it brilliantly!

I like the slow pace, the changes they are making, your OCs Janie and Nick, the humor, the beautiful images like the last one about the shirts...

Thank you very much for writing!

Antonella: Welcome back! I know, it's been hard for some to get back to this because there was such a long gap between posts. There's maybe five more chapters left and I'm committed to posting every two weeks, so now's a good time to come back. I'm glad you've read the last few chapters in one go. Up till now I've been laying the groundwork for these last five chapters when things will start to come together. See you at Chapter 15!

I just wanted to say that the gap between chapters didn't bother me at all.

It's just that a even fic one likes can go somehow... lost. I'm reading too many fics, but it is difficult to stop, once you've started a good fic!

All the Best!
