Gorgeous reunion - loved every word. And this was just so sweet - so Ennis....
**At this, Ennis admitted to himself that he really was batshit crazy. Because what kind of dumbass comes up with a stay breathing rule around a man who habitually takes his breath away?**
I love the fact that the boys are making a go of it, and how funny it is to hear their loving bantering. You are doing a marvelous job and I look forward to whatever you have in store for us.
Thanks also for your cancer fund-raising.
Take care....Adrianne

Thanks for quoting one of my favourite bits! As you probably know, my writing is all about threads and layers that are woven throughout the fic and within the chapters, and I just loved being able to tie up this theme with that line. I had such fun helping Ennis come up with those rules. So often he's bound by rules, society's and the ones set down by his father and his upbringing. So it's great when Ennis can realize Jack is worth breaking rules for! Thanks so much for your patience and support. xx

This is so good, absolutely worth the wait. The part when Ennis shows Jack around the house made me all tear up *sniffs*
I love these boys and it's always great to read au!story since we have a lot of au!au stories out there. Not that they're not good but au story reminds me why I love these guys.
Thank you so much!

Glad you enjoyed this and tapped into some of the emotion behind it. Ennis confuses me sometimes because he's romantic and shy one minute, and then he's being passionate and forceful the next. One minute he's being grumpy, and the next minute he's funny as hell. But, I guess, it's glimpsing all these different parts of him that makes his so damned loveable. Thanks for such a great comment. xx Em

Well you said a lot and I thank you for it. I also thank you for your avatar because I'm going cross-eyed because of it. *drools*
You're so right, Jack doesn't need fancy, he just needs Ennis. Although I bet he's thankful they could break in Ennis's new bed!
Thanks also for liking that section so much. I'm absolutely thrilled you've used it as your sig line. Every time I see that on your posts I just think, wow, it's mind blowing, you know? To have that connection with you through something I've written.
I appreciate you so much. ♥ Em

I see Ennis is still insecure about his living surroundings, but, I think Jack will be able to get him to forget that, by concentrating on keeping Jack entertained. ; )
But I also see that Ennis is finally realizing that he and Jack can be together.
I'm looking forward to your next chapter. Thank you for continuing this wonderful story. : )

Gosh. Can your cat get any cuter?
I think Ennis will always be insecure. He's one of those people, not unlike myself, who has to work really hard to build himself up. And so he reacts to so much with fear and trepidation, but when he does commit himself, he does so with his whole heart.
And you're absolutely right, Jack will have to keep Ennis well entertained. I have a feeling there will be more entertainment in the next chapter.;) Em

Now...this chapter was DIVINE. Gorgeous! I loved the nods to canon too...especially ( and don't ask me why ) Ennis tucking his shirt in as he went to meet Jack at the door... sigh...
I loved that he hadn't even slept on his new bed...was waiting to christen it with Jack first...and Oh how I love that he told people Jack was coming.... don't you fret about taking your time Em...this is worth waiting for!
Thank you for this... Rosie
