What a wonderful surprise! No, I haven’t read this so far. I’m at work and I don’t want to take any risk. I’ve copied the whole story and going to re-read chapter 1-4 and then enjoying the new chapter right away later when I’m alone at home. I hope I’ve still some ice somewhere - I think I’ll need it. Gosh, Em, you amaze me with how you can write something so wonderful just by Sam giving you a nudge. He needs to do that more often.

Sam's a helluva guy. We all need a friend like him. I loved this chapter from beginning to end. Loved Jack slipping his hand into Ennis's back pocket, to all the Jack and Sam bickering, the man giggles, the bulges going on in the back seat . . . everything was perfect!
