I myself am VERY partial to the old standard shiny black stompy boots...
But I'll bet you would look fabulous and adorable in the second pair, too!

I saw the second pair on a woman on the tube and they looked fabulous but they have steel toe caps and I'm just not sure I want to return to those days of wearing heavy boots again!

You know, I wouldn't have expected that second pair to have steel toe caps! I would have thought the black ones did. I know what you mean about the heavy boots- I haven't worn them for years and now can't believe how much they weigh!

Y'know - I just checked and you're right! It is the first pair that have steelies...oh bloody hell, maybe I just need to try them on to figure out which pair to buy!!
