So one thing I have basically deleted from my life lately is LJ. Basically because I simply do not have the time nor energy to write down what has been going on in my life. School, sorority, Panhellenic, trying desperately to get an internship for the summer... And yet for the first time, I am not happy with how things are going. I feel pretty

Hi Shae, if you didn't expect anyone to post, then you prolly really didn't expect me to post, since we don't really hang out, but I wanted you to know that I do care about you very much. You are my sister, linked in the Phi Mu bond that won't be broken, and a wonderful person who deserves the best of friends and a carefree life. Too bad God realizes how much potential you have, He definitely seems to be throwing a lot your way this semester. To be honest, when I read your post, I felt like I could have been reading one of my own journal entries from last year, I have a pretty good idea of what you're going through, right down to the high school boyfriend. shae i know exactly how you feel. im always feeling like something is missing. i think it comes with the whole college experience. my real friends have either changed considerably or live in a different city. my boyfriend lives in jax too...and i spend alot of time with him and everyone says im missing out on college . but youve got to think of it this way, you have something that not alot of people have. you have someone that loves you and knows you on a completely different level. so it might not be too bad to hold on to it.

become a hermit, then you won't need anyone. No i'm joking. I think that you're just spreading yourself too thin. I know that you've been taking like a crazy amt of classes and you're involved in all this stuff, what do you want? What do you need? I dont think you should take a whole semester off, but i do think that you should slow down next semester. Once your position in Panhellenic is up, don't accept another one for a while. Stay in the sorority, experience the sisterhood, but you have got to take some time for yourself, b/c at the end of the day, you are the one who has to deal with yourself, and you know what's best.
