This morning I woke up with not too much homework to do (in anticipation of this weekend I had pretty much done it all ahead of time) and I felt like getting out and doing something before class started at 4. So I took myself to a movie. I walked down to downtown Culver City (about a mile and a half away) and got one ticket for Shall We Dance. ( Read more... )

congrats on seeing a movie alone! i still have not been able to do it but not that i cant stay awake in movies i just give up on them all together.

I don't see y it's thought of as so pathetic to go to a movie alone. I mean it's not pathetic to watch TV alone, so what's the difference?

I would say a little of both. I have been to see MANY movies alone. 1/2 the time it has been by choice (i.e. out of boredom or mere interest in the movie) and the other half probably falls into the pathtic category. Don't feel weird...you are not alone!
