So my tutee came today (we work on reading, she is 6) and her aunt informs me, "Dempsy thought of you today and saved you half a gumball." WHAT?! "I told her, maybe Kristy doesn't like gum, we should probably throw it out."
The kids love you. You're going to have to get use to these types of affections. I liked it when my swim kids drew me pictures. These were like, 3 year olds 'though.
