This is a topic I started to ponder last night after speaking to a friend whose boyfriend moved across the country for graduate school. Obviously, I have some experience in this field. So what makes it work for us? A few tips

K. . not to be a bitch. . .but your reasons for not cheating are a bit hokey. He can cheat without having a relationship (drunken night at a club or whatever). I tihnk a better explanation is that if he is the cheating type anyway he can just as easily cheat in a local relationship (you two aren't joined at the hip). So either way you have no way of controlling whether your man cheats on you so you may as well trust him.

Yes but if he wanted to cheat (like is a cheating type) then why would he agree to stay in a LDRor chose to be in one before he left?

Exactly. But the point is if your man wants to cheat he will so worrying about it won't help.
