i have never known what it is like to hit something so hard, for so long that your knuckles are about to bleed, until now. Thankfully it was a punching bag, and not the wall (which was my first thought) and that allowed me more time to hit it before i walked away so i wouldn't collapse into a crying heap in front of all the guys that were working

yeah a open palm strike is a lot more effective than a punch against most inanimate objects, and usually just as satisfying
