I’ve got to learn to step back and accept that, even if I put all my heart and soul into something and work as hard as I possibly can, some projects are just not going to succeed. Despite my best counsel and advice, some clients will always make piss-poor business decisions.

I think this is a very hard lesson to learn.

I think putting your heart and soul into something is fine and wonderful. Not everything succeeds but it doesn't mean you can't put your heart into it trying.
