Just as a point of interest: were you allowed to pick up feathers at school or were they regarded as dirty?

Apparently George and I attended odd schools!!

The lady today said we should get children to make collages out of feathers. I asked her about them being dirty and she said no not unless the children pluck them out of a dead bird with bird flu! Crazy woman.
