Good news! Good bye vitamin store man!!
So, you've heard how my poor Nana can't eat solid foods because they get caught in her throat and she has to drink protein shakes?
Well, today I took her to a gastronologist (something like that) and he looked at her information and xray and realized that she has a ring in her esophagus that is blocking the food. He is going to go in and fix it on MONDAY and most likely, she'll be back to normal.
I am so happy I could cry, we just smiled on the way home because she has just been so miserable, unable to eat anything or go out with her friends because she is afraid of choking and it has really affected her spirit. The woman who gave birth to ten kids isn't easily prone to depression, so it is rare to her.
It is frustrating that it took someone so long to find it because she's had so many tests and doctor visits and he found it by looking at the xray!
