I think that summer is all about ruts.
Every summer, about this time (when swimming ends and there's just nothing left to do), I realize "Hey, I haven't done anything worthwhile this summer!"

But you've got to remember that that's what summer's all about! Doing nothing, sleeping in, wasting time. We've got a whole year to be busy.

And you aren't really in a rut. I mean, you went to the beach, you're going to make a movie, you're going to your family reunion. Enjoy your time off, don't worry that you're not doing everything you possibly could :)

Yes, i suppose you're right. i just hate being bored!! but no matter, we're going to see a movie tomorrow and i'll just replace all my bored time with working out time, and then i'll look great when i go back to school!!!

kate is more than right. i'd rather be sitting here bored out of my mind than have something to do that involves work. and maybe that's because i've had a long year or maybe it's because i want drugs or something stupid. but, i need to be lazy because if i want out of maryland and back home for college, i've got to start working, and i can't even think of working right now... i'm too tired.
just find one really, really good song over the summer and you accomplished a lot. :)

well, i see your point. but doing the same thing everyday gets to be quite monotonous and boring. so i'm just waiting for some great moment to come by and wake me up
