Okay... well. Here goes then. Blah #1. My moods, my thoughts, my feelings and my feels (oh the feels!).
- Arashi's new single- Bittersweet: People have said this before- it's bad, until it gets good. And it's true (thanks Riida for your amazing choreo). I found it too bouncy. I read the manga just as Jun's drama was announced (so it was only chapter one, but...). The manga is quite mature, and the fact that they made it too bouncy kind of put me off. On the other hand, by itself and not as an OST, it's surprisingly good. I hated it in the beginning, but after watching it performed on Music Station, Shiyagare and what not. With the couple songs, I quite like them, Road to Glory is a great strength provider and is going to go on my 'cheer up' songs. Sync is okay... I don't really like blatant auto tune, but this was okay. The other one that I can't remember, that's my favourite one. It was so catchy and so Arashi (looking forward to their 5X15, and if fate would have it I'm going to be in Japan at that time, as a school trip so it wasn't planned, I won't see their concert, but... YESSSS!) Now to remember the name...Heh. Well, let's just say, it was once bitter, but now it's sweet.
Get it?
Ayyeee?
- Jun's drama- Broken Hearted Chocolatier: Um. I love Jun and his dramas are amazing, but well... this drama has left me quite bored. It's an okay watch, I guess, when I have nothing better to do. I'm still only up to episode 3. And it's not just because of fangirl jealousies. It left me nearly hating every single character on the show. Even Jun (since WHEN does a person hate their bias??). I should've expected that, the manga just didn't provide us with likable characters for them to go on, but it still doesn't make me like it. I'll keep watching only because it's Jun's comeback drama, but just not very fixedly. By the way, anyone excited for Ohno's drama and Nino's drama?
- CNBLUE's new mini album- Can't stop: I CAN'T STOP listening! It sounds really sad, but the beat is great. It's a new style, but yet, at the same time so very CNBLUE. It's beautiful- a masterpiece- and a song that I will allow to waste my time as I hashtag #CantStop a bazillion times, watch the MV another bazillion times, RT, and listen to the song on repeat. It's written by them and that's an added bonus. I've heard the other tracks are equally beautiful and I'm going to listen to it definitely when I have time. DEFINITELY.
- Girl's Generation (SNSD) new single- MR.MR: Okay. I actually really, really like it. I'm no SONE. Not a hater, but they're not my favourite SM girls I stan. UNTIL THIS SINGLE. I've heard so many people say how it's not their jam and so on, but this is MY jam okay. They're all say I Got A Boy was so much better. Hm. No. I hated that song, so much. But MR.MR... the girls were beautiful with that hospital look and the man look, their new look is a sign that-HEY!- they ARE getting OLDER, the song is super catchy, the dance is simpler than their other videos but one of the best ever, the choppy editing and whatever really added to it. I. LOVED. IT. In fact, I went on a complete SNSD Youtube vid-watching rampage because of Mr.Mr!
- 2011 Anime- Anohana: I'd heard of this right when it came out in 2011. I wasn't all that interested, in all honesty. Heard rave reviews- skip. And then I decided to watch episode one, near the beginning of 2014. All those feels... *cries a river*. I will say no more other than: damn it smileyjun, why on earth didn't you listen to your gut instinct to watch AnoHana in 2011?? Also catching up on Toradora, but it isn't as good I'll admit.
- SBS Variety Show- Running Man: THEY CAME TO AUSTRALIA. However, it got pretty chaotic and I only caught a glimpse. Fans blamed each other and we all were getting hated. Just check twitter and you'll see a bunch of reasons how we're awful and so on. So I'm going to talk about how the staff didn't plan it as well. Why let it leak about all this info on Brisbane, but then have NOTHING for Melbourne? Bad planning. When fans come, they should at least greet them a little? I heard there were 600-800 people waiting at the REB, other than singing Happy Birthday to Gary and not realising it disrupted filming, everyone stood patiently. And yet they smuggled them out secretly. Not even a hi? Because fans couldn't see them, they tried to see them at that restaurant, which made them unable to eat. Just saying, but if they had just satisfied their fans in the first place, the majority wouldn't continue looking. It was late, and everyone was tired too. Just saying. Third, no fansign? They had so many fans, so a once in a lifetime opportunity excited them heaps, that's why they went to their filming grounds. There should've been a fansign.
And finally here is the one that deserves the most recognition (are any of us surprised?):
- SBS Drama- You Who Came From The Stars: Oh the feels >.<~ It was one of the most amazing dramas in the world. I'm gonna miss spending my Thursdays and Fridays watching it after it had aired the previous nights. It was the one drama I couldn't stop thinking about. Everyone has YWCFTS fever, and I can't blame them. They captured the scenes with just the right humour, gut-wrenching sadness, and cuteness/love from the mains. No one could replace the people who played the characters. They were all great solid characters that I couldn't even really hate Jae-Kyeong (he just played it so well~). All the epilogues exploded with adorableness. And I was REALLY satisfied with the ending. It never bored me from beginning to end, and it's one of those rare shows that get better at each episode. I liked Heirs, but let's all be real, it isn't even close to being as good as this one. It had a stellar cast, that they didn't use to their full potential. This had a stellar cast that they really did. I loved it, I will continue loving it, and I want some more feels because these just ain't satisfying me. On to watch it all a second time~
