Awesome, congrats to them! And congrats to you as well! I don't know if that sounds weird, but over here, when someone gets married or has a birthday or anything, we also congratulate their relatives with that. I don't know if you would do that as well..

i don't know if i got too many congrats yesterday, i think my brother got more.. hehe but yes, it does make sense to congratulate the family at a wedding because they are welcoming someone new in! and so now i have a new sister.
