Today was my last day working at Microsoft. As of now I am unemployed. Tomorrow I will apply for unemployment "benefits." That will be an interesting experience, although I reviewed their website awhile ago and have a decent idea of what to expect

It also could just be that, while it is a 'big deal' - in the grand scheme of you and your life, it isn't THAT big of a deal. Thus, it doesn't have THAT big of an impact on you.
