Y'know, fast food isn't all that bad. Sometimes it's just good comfort food. Sure, it's worse for you than distilled lard... but damnit, we all eat Oreos, and those ARE distilled lard!

i wouldn't call it a motto per se, but it is a commendable doctrine. i agree, though, that it needs to be amended somewhat. samiches can be way good when they are good for you too. proposed change: "samiches are awesome because they are samiches."

It's just that your second paragraph was so poetic and articulate. It reminded of something from a novel. You could be a novelist/poet, like Homer (not the simpsons *shudder* the guy who wrote down the Odyssey) You are a very skilled linguist.
