This was such an awesome game! I didn't get to see it live because I was at school but I caught the reply an hour later. So much tension and intensity between both rivals. Being surrounded by 900,000 shouting Barca fans has gotta make someone feel extremely overwhelmed. I love the history between these teams. This is the reason why you CANNOT

It seems like everyone I know is a self-proclaimed Barca fan. Or Chelsea. Or some other really popular team. The drama behind soccer is fascinating though.

Ha, it's the same deal here( my older brother grew up watching Man Utd, so that's his team; my sister supports Arsenal while my dad likes Chelsea; I for one, am neutral :P). I don't see anything wrong with supporting a big team that looks good on paper. It's just odd when a person is cheering for all the top teams (this goes for any sport), I mean isn't that exhausting lol?

The drama both amuses and disturbs me. It sucks when people have to get hurt (in riots especially) just because some people can't control themselves. Around the world, soccer is so much ingrained in one's culture that some people take it way too far when the results of a match aren't in their favour, it's frightening D:
